Afternoon meditation

Did a short 20-minute meditation seated on a small stool in the shade of the trees. It’s 39° C here at the moment so that is distracting, as well as being outside with all the sounds and impressions and activities around me. I tried staying with the breath and sensations but this proved difficult.  Against better knowing I tried to do an MCO but this was not a good idea, I constantly got distracted and lost track of where I was. Still I felt more calm and at ease after the meditation.
