This night I sat down in my meditation room and spent 45 minutes just trying to be aware of being aware of thoughts, emotions and sensations. It was nice. My arm was hurting as it has been doing for the past few weeks; a muscle in my right shoulder might be enflamed or something because it sends out this nerve pain that radiates into my arm. Instead of being annoyed by this distraction I just included it in the landscape of sensations which worked fine.
