I attempted to do an MCO just now but it’s no use. Too much stuff going on in the head and the pain in my arm is also distracting. Focus was virtually impossible. Instead of trying to ignore the pain I turned my attention to it; trying to find it’s edges, see how it moves and manifests. I noticed that the pain just ‘floats’ in the space of awareness but that there is no owner to this pain. It faded as I investigated it. This isn’t always the case, in the past the pain also sometimes intensified when I directed my attention to it. I guess it depends on the attitude, today I wasn’t annoyed with the pain and I just let it be. So I guess it wasn’t a bad meditation after all, depends how you look at it 🤔
